France
Date: June 26-28th 2023

Objectives: 

1. To disseminate and discuss the R1 State-of-the-art (SOTA) result on the video conferencing tools, methods, principles, and good practices.

2. To facilitate workshops for collecting existing scenarios and best practices of using video conferencing, and collecting existing methods and didactics for portable VC-mediated teaching.

3. To get introduced to EdTech tools for engaging students online.

Activities:

During this full-day event, for each of the three objectives, there will be separate workshops.

1. The workshop will group each partner’s members with external participants. Introduce R2.1 outcomes, and the principles and good practices relevant to the partner’s context will be summarized. A survey of training needs to adopt the good principles and practices will be conducted.

2. The workshop will group participants in homogenous groups, every group will summarize the various scenarios and best practices using video conferencing based on the existing internal study, and the list of methods and online tools applied for engaging students in VC-mediated teaching.

3. Towards ideation of didactic use of online tools, two invited Edtech companies will present and facilitate workshops to adopt functionalities and cases of cloud services and applications for engaging classroom interactions.

Malaysia
Date: March 28^th 2024 (Tentative)

Objectives:

1. To introduce EdViCon Educational Materials (R4)

2. To introduce the EdViCon Competence Matrix and personal development questionnaires (R5)

Activities:

A full-day workshop will be conducted for the two modules selected from the 10 modules developed. Each module will consist of the EdViCon Educational Materials (R4) and EdViCon Competence Matrix (R5). The hardware and software resources for the training as part of the modules will be provided by the workshop facilitators.

Palestine
Date: October 7^th 2024 (Tentative)

Objectives:

1. To introduce the EdViCon toolkits (R3)

1. To introduce EdViCon Educational Materials (R4)

2. To introduce the EdViCon Competence Matrix (R5)

Activities: 

Results R1-R3 will be presented followed by workshop activities.

A full-day workshop will be conducted, where each day will be allocated for one of the two themes. First, to introduce the EdViCon Educational Materials (R4), particularly the ten modules in the uQualio platform to the workshop participants. The participants will be working in pairs, selecting two of the courses, and completing the online course activities.  The workshop facilitators will devise strategies for further dissemination of the courses and potentially prioritize courses with greater local relevance. The introduction to the EdViCon toolkits (R3) will be introduced as part of the modules.

The workshop will also introduce the EdViCon competence matrix (R5) to the different participating roles, test the personal development questionnaire developed for adopting the competence matrices in practice, and potentially adapt to local language and cultural interpretation of the terminologies used in each of the matrices and the questionnaires. The participants will be working in pairs as it is proven that participants who know each other as part of a constructive interaction method identify the most important factors.

The participants will be asked to fill in the EdViCon personal development questionnaires before and after the workshop to assess the impact of the educational materials on the competence achievement process.

Thailand

Bangladesh

The structure of activities will be the same as the local multiplier event in Palestine & Thailand.

Denmark
Date: November 5th, 2024 (Tentative)

Objectives:

1. To introduce the EdViCon best practices (R2)

2. To introduce EdViCon Educational Materials (R4)

3. To introduce the EdViCon Competence Matrix (R5)

Activities:
The full-day EdViCon multiplier event in Europe (E6) will be held after the final transnational project meeting (M3) and before the 3-day training event (C2).  The consortium members will be able to attend and facilitate the workshops as part of traveling for the transnational meeting.
The structure of activities will be the same as the local multiplier event in Palestine, Thailand, & Bangladesh.
