Portable Video Conferencing Toolkits and Online Applications for Engaging Learning Experience Design in Higher Education Classroom
The Event will take place Tuesday, June 25, 2024, and will be conducted at Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Sarawak, Malaysia.
Objectives
Teachers and Educators will:
- Enhance their proficiency in using portable video conferencing tools.
- Gain hands-on experience with portable video conferencing systems through workshops.
- Understand pedagogical and technological factors for enhancing learning in video-conferencing environments.
- Utilise a self-assessment tool to evaluate competency using portable video conferencing hardware, software, and student engagement features.

The EdVicon Local Event is set to make a significant impact on December 27, 2024, in Khon Kaen, Thailand. Co-hosted and organized by the Digital Education and Learning Engineering Association (DELE), this event promises to be a transformative experience, uniting over 30 educators, lecturers, and teachers from various provinces across the nation.
At the heart of the event is an engaging three-hour workshop, showcasing innovative tools for modern education. Participants will delve into portable video conferencing toolkits, specifically designed for diverse teaching scenarios, and explore online applications for engaging learning experience design, empowering educators to reimagine their classrooms.
This hands-on workshop will be led by esteemed experts, Dr. Nikorn Rongbutsri, Researcher Head, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Charoenchai Wongwatkit, Co-Researcher, from Mae Fah Luang University. With their extensive experience and leadership in digital education, the facilitators will guide participants through a series of interactive activities aimed at fostering collaboration and real-world application.
